Information Society

Negative Gain is honored to work with the celebrated Information Society. With 30 years of recording behind them, they consistently enthrall the masses with their slick style and Electropop imagination. Information Society’s work ethic and determination to make listeners dance keeps them on the cutting edge of the club scene.

Information Society’s latest release, ODDfellows, maintains Europop inspiration with New Wave’s commercially delectable sound. Featuring airy beats, it hits the ground running and feels like the synth-drenched dance sequence dream of cinematic proportions. INFOSOC also places themselves on the frontier of technology, with a separate ODDfellows release made just for headphones and employs THX ‘Spatial Audio’ used in video games and simulates “sound outside your head,” giving listeners an experience unlike any other. This release is also available in standard audio. ODDfellows is a release that challenges and entertains the listener.

The group’s breakout single was 1988’s “What’s on Your Mind (Pure Energy)“, which spent 39 weeks on the dance chart, going straight to number one and would also peak at number three on the Hot 100 pop chart.
